I can handle loses. I excepted the UK and Florida loses. We got out played in the 2nd half by UK and Florida's D owned us.

Last night's loss was the worst I've experienced as a Mizzou fan. UGA practically gave us the win on a silver platter. Our defense play lights out. The set up our O on the 1 yard line at the beginning of the game and we don't punch it in? I said WE DON'T frickING PUNCH IT IN!!!!!!!!!

One ducking TD wins us that game. ONE! I put that shite show on my tablet and switch over to the Boxing PPV at the half. The ironic thing was that the most of the fights were all offense and no defense.

Any way....... back on track. The most hurtful thing was seeing how bad our defense wanted to win that game. The had the fire in their eyes while our offense had no ducking heart what so ever. I'll say it again, from the players to the coaching staff, the Mizzou offense HAS NO frickING HEART!!!!!

I don't know if we win another game this season. I do know that unless we visit the Wizard of Zou, gets the Offense a heart, courage, and the coaching staff a brain, we won't be winning much football for a while.

My guess is you missed Woody's Wagon, the Stull years and early Smith. Just one of these coaches will give you some thick skin.

It's been a lot worst.

I'm 32 so Mizzou football wasn't really a big Ta-do when I was growing up. I really didn't start following the program until I joined the military and it gave me a connection to home.

My 1st live Mizzou game was in 2006 when they came out to Albuquerque (where I'm stationed) and played the Lobos.

So yeah, I'm pretty spoiled with the Pinkel era.

Oh, I'll never give up on the program. I'll be watching next week, next year, and every season until I die.

I just hate seeing non-efforts.

I was at the 34-0 loss to UGA last year. At least Maty was trying to pull some thing off.

Any way, I'm sure there will be worse seasons than this in my life time and maybe the best season ever is yet to come. That's why we hit the reset button every year, right?

I share your frustration about the program. I have seen Don Faurot on the sidelines (albeit when I was a very small boy). When I was a freshman in COMO, Dan Devine was the HC.

I've suffered through Uncle Al, Powers, Woody, Stull, and Smith. As much as I have disagreed with Pinks at times over his methodology, he is the winningest coach (percentage-wise) at Mizzou unless you go back to the early 1900's and Chester Brewer.

What bothers me the most is the "stuck in the mud" refusal to adapt the offensive scheme to the athletes on hand. When you have a relatively small-sized corps of backs, you better have a great blocking scheme to spring them loose. Big backs can make their own holes by running over people.

And when your first down play is always Hansborough off RT for a 2 yard gain, the pressure increases to have the big play offense on the next two plays. That offensive scheme worked (sort of) with Josey, because he was a step faster than either of the two guys playing now.

Ultimately, the bad offense is Pink's fault, but the problem, as I see it is squarely on Henson. When I have been able to see him on the sidelines, he just looks confused. No energy or excitement to rev up the offense. If the OL coach isn't getting the guys to understand the scheme, while it is somewhat his fault, Henson is responsible for that coach's failure too.
