As long as you understand, ban bets are not allowed on the rant or the boards. I can guarantee you, though, that if I find someone's presence on our board disruptive, they will be banned from our board for an appropriate period of time.

Also, if you took this bet already...there is no backing out. You can't take the bet and then have a change of heart.
If anyone has done that, I assume that is ban worthy beginning the moment the regular season ends.

When is the deadline for figuring out who is in? Really think the Royals fans have to get the numbers even or what's the purpose in joining in?

FWIW, you're not going to be able to get even numbers on this bet. Like TN2 said earlier, there's a large discrepancy in size of fanbases.

I really hope the Royals have a great season. The Cards are without question number one for mw but I have always loved baseball and just adopted them as a AL team when I was young, long before inter league play. Back when it was really two different major league universes and styles. It has just stuck and I have enjoyed as well as suffered watching one of the worst ownerships in the MLB bleed a pretty solid and proud fan base.

Most KC fans here are infrequent posters. The consistent posters here are all STL folks with the exception of myself, TN2, KCMIZ, and sometimes everytrueson.

If you get it at least close, I'll jump. Right now, I'd make it 3x's as many Cards fans willing to back their team as Royals fans.

Another minor detail you cards (and hesitant Royals) fans might be overlooking is that the Royals division is probably weaker than the Cards division this year.....for once. That = more wins for Royals.
