There doesn't need to be level of animosity. He's a nice guy who loves Mizzou and is trying his hardest. Wish him well at the end of year. Pay him any money owed and move on. It's not his fault he was given a job he couldn't do. I would've done the same thing. Got in there, rolled up my sleeves and done the best I knew how and cash my paychecks.

- Missing front ends of 1 and 1
- Chucking 3's
- No post play
- Zero offensive flow
- Taking poor low percentage shots from 17 ft.
- Can't run a fast break 3 on 2 correctly
- Wide open lanes on D
- Not boxing out

But it's not coaching guys.

After watching the last few trips, I was reminded of a mind-boggling stat from last year.

We had like 15% of all our shots blocked. We're on a similar pace this year.

Jimmies and joes.

That doesn't make any sense to do right now for many reasons.

If nobody gets arrested and they have flashes of competitiveness throughout the year and it shows there's at least a solid group of young guys here, he'll have hit the bottom ring of what he was supposed to do, and really what anyone should have hoped for.

They'll find somebody better to pass the baton off to.

freshmen do that every game for three years

Yea at this point there's no blaming it on the players. 3 completely different sets of players all have had the same problems.

It's plain as day.

KJ Walton not getting 20 minutes a game is indefensible.

Till half of these guys transfer at the end of the year. He wasted too much time, he should have cleared house in his first year instead of wasting time on players who couldn't cut it in the classroom or mentally. He tried to put a bandaid on the team, he needed to firebomb the entire roster.

Don't forget to snap that pic.

Youngest team in the country -- 347 out of 351, same difference.

No blue chip level talent.

If you put all freshman on the field for Alabama football they'd probably look pretty shitty.

Ying and yang thoughts to everything on this.

They looked stupid in the first 5 minutes. Now they just look dead. Somewhere in the middle it looked okay.

We were 17th youngest last year. We shouldn't be the 4th youngest this year.

Yep. He shouldn't be recruiting anyone at this point, he should have a roster full of his players that are here for the long haul. But mark my words, there will be another 2-4 transfers after this season.

How is that acceptable?

They weren't winning this game, but the piss poor fundamentals of this team are glaring.

Losing is one thing, but at least try to look like a Division 1 basketball team doing it. They reflect their head coaches level of skill, a Division 2 basketball team.

Kim Anderson is the very definition of the Peter Principle.

Hallmarks of KA teams terrible starts and a 5-10 minute stretch where teams go on 20-0 runs.

Unless Barnett is a major difference maker KA will be gone in 22 games. Yea transfers will probably happen with a new coach.
Guys at this point that Mizzou really needs to stay
TP, KJ, KP, MS, FH, RN, WJ and maybe JB. Add to that core CJ and a couple key guys that can score Mizzou can be rebuilt fairly quickly.

Maybe they're trying to move the franchise.

Rams pulled this for years to position an explosion with a young team after the move. (Obvs didn't work).

One guy says they shoulda blown up the roster earlier.

You're saying they shouldn't be getting younger this year.

Most of the negative comments are true. But when everything is looked at in a singular way it lacks perspective and wholeness. This is how political discussion gets so polarized. Fact vs fact, but both of those facts mean so many other things than just the fact.

KA reminds me of a coach I had once. He even looks just like him. I can tell he's a problem.

Hope they get through the year without capsizing and can give the next guy the best chance to succeed.

look the dude is definitely on the hot seat. My only point has been, and will continue to be, that he was dealt a huge steaming pile of shite and if nothing else he shoveled it out.

And he recruits better than we thought he could, but his teams look fundamentally poor, which is kind of the opposite of how we thought it would go.

and firing him now would just be shooting ourselves in the face; he's got the rest of this season to see how he can make them play.

Now fire Kim Anderson. And start Lock

With very little if any improvement.

The effort is there for the large part... However, KA, just isn't getting it done.

I did like what I saw from Smith. If he can gain 15-20 lbs before next season, I think he will be a good college player.
