He gives every team with a bunch of returning starters credit for continuing to develop.....except one.

This is pretty much the level of all reporting I've seen outside of the state of Missouri. We didn't get any respect when we won the east. Now, the dislike and disrespect for MU is just blatant. Yes, last year was bad, but if these sports writers even tried, there's a lot of relevant information out there. But, I guess that's just not going to happen. Have to win it all before there's any shred of journalistic decency.

Well if it helps any he craps on Arkansas and Moo State as well. SEC sportswriters worship at the altar of the Big Schools in the SEC. To them a school like Mizzou, South Carolina, or Arkansas having a very good year is like staring at one of Lovecraft's Elder Gods... all they can do is gibber incoherently and soil themselves.

6.5 for Mizzou seems in the realm of reasonableness, but 5.5 for South Carolina is too low with arguably the best QB in the division.

Good bulletin board material. He's right about the beer.

Why does he have so many whole numbers? Seems like a stupid way to write an o/u article.

That is another one. Don't get me wrong, some teams are going to spend their time in the disappointing barrel this year, but some of his picks for being horrible I'm not sure about.

6.5 seems right and picking the under while saying 5 or 6 wins isn't off the wall. Pretty spot on if you ask me. I am hopeful for better but that is the fan in me. There is no reason to say it will be more until it is more.

Yeah, he didn't write much. Didn't take much thinking. I wonder what 6 wins does though for BO.

The most ridiculous thing that's been happening this offseason is everyone saying all these garbage teams with garbage coaches have these great returning QBs. Let's discuss.

Jake Bentley, SC: 1400 total yards last year

Shea Patterson, Ole Miss: 1000 total yards last year

Jarrett Stidham: 1200 total yards in 2015

Jacob Eason: 2400 total yards last year

According to tRant and most "experts" (LOL) these 4 are all head and shoulders the definitive future and excellent QBs despite pathetic numbers.

The only SEC QBs that have proven a damn thing are Austin Allen, Nick Fitzgerald, and Drew Lock. Jalen Hurts, I can't really comment on because of how good Alabama is and how good they have been. None of their QBs were very good since Sabah took over. Serviceable, yes, good to great, not even close.

1. Austin Allen
2. Nick Fitzgerald
3. Drew Lock
4. Everybody else
