I support coaches as long as they are here. Trashing them as they work here makes no choice, but hey…you can deny it if you want but his recruiting was really bad. Near Vandy level bad and it’s the main reason we suck

I agree with this and this is what I'm hoping is the cause but regardless of talent level Drink isn't showing anything that resembles coaching players up. If drink is going to have to rely on talent to beat other teams instead of coaching know-how, we are screwed.

Why?
We have the #6 class in the SEC right now. 3rd in the East behind Florida and Georgia. We actually have a decent chance to finish higher than Florida. So if he recruits at the 2/3 level in the East for a few classes in a row we’ll be one of the more talented teams in the league. Not sure how we’d be screwed.
Besides. The guy went 11-1 at App St beating two G5 teams. He exceeded expectations here year 1. Yeah, this year us sucked so far but in 2 of 3 he’s looked like a very solid coach.
We are fine. I know losing sucks but people are freaking out for no reason

Because aren't we shooting for better than 6th? We were able to get to 2nd w/out near as much talent because we had a staff who could coach players up and create schematic advantages.
