Terrible story breaking.

A Chiefs player murdered his GF, then commits suicide at Chiefs practice facility...

That's horrible. Prayers to anyone involved or affected by this tragedy.

Terrible news, cowardly thing to do... killing someone else before taking his own life.

And the most tragic part, IMO, is their 2.5 month baby who is now an orphan. What a horrible act.

Hope the Chief's organization might set up some kind of fund for the child. Surely Belcher would have had some insurance to protect his family, but it won't pay in case of suicide.

Hopefully the girlfriend had some kind of policy, that poor kid.

She was a 22 year old unmarried mother. I tend to doubt she had a life insurance policy. If she was employed, may have some sort of coverage through group policy. That type is usually only enough to cover burial expense.

Tragic for all those left behind in both his and her family.

That would be a very decent and honorable thing to do. That poor baby.
