Jesse Watters made the protestors look dumb. It was good for some lols, worth watching.

Good. Though I doubt that would be a difficult accomplishment.

You could tell that Watters thought it was ridiculous....which it is. Tim Wolfe should have hired him to talk to the protesters.

Did Wolfe have any supporters?
Other than financial management of the university it seemed that he failed pretty big in every other management aspect of leading the university system.
Same can be said about Loftin, although his strentgth was more PR related.

Intelligent people.

Uh...not sure where you are coming up with that, unless you are only listening to the protesters.
The system president's job is almost exclusively financial management, and political management (on a government level, not students). System presidents do almost nothing in regards to the day to day for the 4 universities he oversees.

Loftin is the one who sucked. But his PR and popularity allowed him to stay out of the protesters sights, because they liked him. But faculty and administrators were not at all happy with him.
That is the biggest crock out of all of this, that Wolfe got the blame for Loftin's failures.
Could Wolfe have handled the Homecoming parade situation better? absolutely, but interacting with individual students or small student groups (especially racist ones) is not his job. Nor has it ever been.
It was a witch hunt, plain and simple. A witch hunt over nothing credible (so far as the University should be concerned).
They liked Loftin, so they placed blame on the next highest official...regardless of his involvement or responsibility.

I live in Columbia, even before the protest there was talk from people in administrative & teaching roles that didn't like him. Though most of that was due to the fact that his background wasn't academia.

That was great. And the truth of it was right there.
"Now that you've gotten the President to resign, what's next?"
"We need justice for all this racism. Justice for Mike Brown, and Trayvon Martin. All these white people threatening us, we have to fight and give it back, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!" (Paraphrased, but the protester's actual words.)
They don't have a plan at this point, other than to walk around with megaphones marching and yelling "Black Power!" I just hope there's no violence.

Sure, there are some that aren't happy that he is from the business world...but that doesn't speak to his job performance. Unlike Loftin, who people did speak against his job performance.

Here's the problem; we knew the faculty didn't like him and they (probably) set the wheels in motion for the protests, etc. Want to know how I can tell if someone is a good college Prez? If the faculty doesn't like them.

Yeah. And they had to subtitle it because you couldn't understand the guy he was interviewing. Seriously.
