My cuz and I are planning on driving down to Oxford for the game. Stay in Memphis the night before? What section is the visitor's section? Any other suggestions? Things we should know?

Memphis or tunica would be fun if you are planning on going out.

As far as which section is the visitors I always get confused on the north/south/east/west of the stadium. If you are looking at the field from the student section then it's on the right. I'm useless

I always stayed in Memphis the night before the game. Lots of music, food and good cold beer in Memphis. The Ole Miss campus is beautiful. The women stunning. They really are. I know as I married a Mississippi woman. The Grove is definitely a treat worth experiencing.
Ole Miss games in Oxford are always worth going to. I encourage those Mizzou fans to make this trip.

Visitors section is on the SE side of the stadium. I would recommend staying in Downtown Memphis the night before. The Madison, Westin, and Peabody are all nice hotels, but there are some others that are cheaper and still in a good location. There should be plenty of live music on Beale.

I hope you have a fun trip down here!

UMTR, if any of our posters decide to go to the game, where would you recommend tailgating for the visitors?

just set up a tent anywhere in the grove or the circle. The Circle is more family oriented than the grove but both are great. Everyone will be really nice and probably offer food or drinks

You've got the Grove and the circle. Most set up their tents the night before, and although it's first come first serve, many fans are in the same spot every time. The Grove is more crowded than the circle, but I don't really have a good answer for you. Hopefully someone can provide some more insight for you.

We've always been welcoming to other fanbases though.

it's the party hard side. You have the drunks in both area but the younger crowd (college students, recent grads, etc..) reside in the grove along with all the wild adults
