Played like absolute studs in the bowl game and have given me so much confidence going into next year.
I was worried about losing Hopper and Bailey but, those three to four games with that tandem was great. They had hiccups against Florida but dominated outside of that and Newsome was a heat seeking missle against Ohio St. Was in consideration for our most valuable player with his tackles behind the line in my eyes.

Newsome was awesome.
Hicks has played better than expected. He’s likely the weakest link on the defense going into next year.

I can agree with this and that’s a good sign though.
I think it depends on if we lose Carlies or not and if his replacement steps up.(assuming it’s Burks)

He's a true freshman this year.

I know I just thought he was one of the first to transfer out.

The Miami transfer is likely to be right there with hicks.
