With this season a great disappointment, can Mizzou withdraw their appeal so this thing doesn't screw the new coach?

Because beaker, it would hamstring the new coach for a year. Let's get it done now, and minimize the carryover to Odoms replacement.
At the very least, the new coach can tell the current recruits and any other kids still available that bowl ban will be gone in 2020.

Scholarship sanctions are worse than the bowl ban. It will effect the team for the next 2 to 3 years.
