Just got back from the game and the biggest take away is easy. MODOT has to make Highway 70 3 lanes up through Warrenton and then again from just before 54 through Columbia, at a minimum.

Beyond that, what a weird game. In a way, I really felt like we were the better team. 3 plays that you have some control over that were just stupid. Blocked punt for a TD. A pass to an uncovered man that literally hits him in the chest and goes to a defender led to a FG I believe. A completion to a TD whose forward progress is clearly stopped before they strip him and run it for a TD. That's 17 points.

Oh and let's not forget the TD given to UGA that sure as hell didn't look like he was in before dropping the ball and we ran back. 14 point swing there alone.

Overall, was pretty happy but would happy but man it's frustrating when you could have won the game with not a lot of extra effort.

Barry really needs to use this a story motivation. Expect Bama, every game is very winnable if they stop the self inflicted wounds they had today.

And you also saw just how limited Locks game is when he doesn’t have a downfield burner that can win one on one.

I think Peyton Manning would have sucked if no one can get open. No. Lock was not great but he wasn't himself bad. I will agree that the passing offense, what you would think would be our strength, was one of our biggest weaknesses. Stripped ball by a WR. Bounce of a WR for an INT. Two fumbles by Lock. No separation by WR's.

I have no idea of the stats, but it seemed like the running game was better than I expected it to be against UGA. Defense was solid for a half until our DB's reverted to old way.

Crockett looked like his freshman self.
Hall needs to get healthy for the passing game to work.
If Hall isn’t healthy Albert O is the next best WR, which is why th passing game struggled.
Also thought McCann’s FG was good.

Not that I saw. Hall seemed to be out there most of the time. Our camera view just sucks though.

WR Snap Counts
Brown 77
Hall 74
JJ 64
Knox 14

Hall played way too much if he wasn't 100%.

Knox certainly should have got more than 14 snaps if Brown and Hall were diminished.

Knox and Scott. Disservice to Lock to play two gimpy WRs for that many snaps, especially in the 2nd half.

Let's discuss route running. Twice Albert is in the wrong place and it costs us TDs; once with RIII running a wheel route and then with Nate Brown. Also, where were open WRs with all the soft coverage underneath?
