There are a few surprises as starters on the o-line and middle linebacker. I have said that people need to watch out for Dominic Collins at receiver. He has been rewarded for his good hands.

That's just a guess, but it's not really a suprise. It's pretty consistent from a lot of the camp reports.

It's as good a guess as any, but I'd say Biesel, Dubinski and Ploudre will be starters on the week 1 depth chart.

Doubt that happens. Moore, JJ & Mason pretty much locked down the starting WR spots.
Huepel goes so fast that probably at least 7 guys will get significant snaps.
Floyd is first among reserves. Then it's Hall, Collins, and Brown.

Im trying to figure out why brown wouldnt be higher. I like hall, brown, and floyd more than collins and mason.

What has Brown done? Or Hall?
Mason outproduced both of them. That was as a true freshman.
Brown and Hall are different enough from Mason that Huepel bring them in to diversify the offense.

I dont have stats to prove or anything, just feels like Mason dropped the ball a lot more than Hall. I like Halls size and speed too. plus like I said, I dont have stats about drops, but Hall's rec/yards is better.

Mason will start. He could be in for a huge breakout year. I'd say Hall is the top backup at the outside positions, followed by Brown

Yards/rec ignores the roles the WRs have.
Compare the route trees for the 2. Hall has 1 main route. It's go deep. Mason is used in way more ways.

Mason led the WRs in catch rate (63%) and was second to Chris Black's success rate which was a small sample size. Maclin was a RSFr and is the only first year Fr starter with more yds. Mason learned a lot the first months of the season and then caught 21 balls the last month of the season.
I do think Hall gives them another L. Washington type player to take the top off the defense. I like how he blocks his position as well.

I think the passing game goes inside out this season. As a result I wouldn't be suprised to see Lock's completion percentage to really jump.
The TE/Slot WR combo should be really good for Mizzou this season. Blanton, JJ and Floyd will do their best version on Egnew and Moe.

Look out for Dominic Collins and Richaud Floyd and don't forget Nate Brown in the red zone.

I agree. The 3rd down conversion rate should go up as well.
