No GP did real work.

This is our normal "waveform" versus the "ripple".

MU is the up and down cycle, the "rectified ripple" Bama is the constant, in this case the smooth ripple.

We will always be the rectified ripple in the cycle of CFB, never the smooth ripple. The cycle should never be < the smooth ripple.

If it is, it becomes an anomaly.

That is CFB in a nutshell.

If Mizzou is ever going to start having top 20 recruiting classes 2018 will be the one to do it. That instate class has loads of elite talent.

That won't even help.

This is our place. Not just ours, but about 100 other college teams.

It is what it is. Sometimes we'll be up, sometimes down, but by and large the average is right in the middle.

There will be anomalies, on both ends.

End of the day, this will hold true for the most part.

I think the defense is fine. The major issue last year was DGB and Mauk and a really bad offensive coaching staff. We still can't run the ball but the offense looked better against WVU.

People hounding the DLine I dont really understand, they were getting penetration and in the back field a lot, WVU plays a quick pass type of offense and they had all off season to prepare for our quickness.

I think we surprise a lot of people and get 7 wins.

I kind of buy into this argument and I kinda don't. Historically on average we are good but not great with ups and downs as you point out, and we will never recruit like the blue bloods.

But then I look at all the conflicting facts. Like we sucked for a long time until we got Pinkel. bama was in a period of suckage until they got Saban. Miami and the Nubs where the two of the most dominate programs in the nation for 20 years and now one's average and the other is almost nonexistent. Tennessee has every advantage has hasn't gotten anywhere in a while.

I can't imagine what Oklahoma has over us recruiting wise and they do all right.

It seems to come down to coaching staff vs coaching staff and errbody goes up and down xcept for Saban.
