Ah gotcha. Never really understood why some people get their panties in a twist if a thread is started about something they have no interest in discussing. I think some of them think they are required to read every thread.

They'll get really shitty if it isn't SEC related on the rant. Basketball stuff goes on the recruiting board until there's something real basketball related since it's all recruiting now anyways.
Might be able to get away with a Mizzou first basketball practice thread today, but it would be filled with Alabama and LSU fans saying basketball sucks and Mizzou belongs in the Big 10, but you'll get that with most threads anyways.

That's their problem, not mine. I'll still talk it if it's out there. You'll get the usual bullshite comments but you'll get some legitimate talk from some UK and UF fans and a few others thrown in there.

Oh, you'll also get some chat from Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Arkansas. They all like basketball. It's not that bad - yes, it's not going to get much attention during football season, but if it's a legit thread you'll get some legit discussion. If they think you're trolling, just be ready.

Finally checking in. Been on the board for a year, mainly just watching what is going on. From CoMo. Actually grew up 10 miles north but lived here since college (mid 90's). Season Ticket holder and TSF member. Have always loved the Tigers and I love the move we made even though I do still wish we played kU. I loved going to low rents and leaving with wins. Definitely like the Mizzou Board on the Rant over TB. Place is a little toxic over there. Look forward to talking all things Mizzou.

I always felt a little awkward on the shack, but I still post occasionally on the football board. I've never been sure how they'd take a female posting on the shack.
