At least hes not going to be just another guy at Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, or North Carolina. I commend him for going somewhere to be THE GUY.

He would at least start on all those teams and be at least one of the top two guys.

Will he not start and be a top 2 guy in Washington?

About as climactic as a fart.

I'm tired of all the winning we're doing.

Did not want.

Moved on from him anyways.

Besides, how many instate players that leave and go elsewhere do anything anyways.

THIS! To my knowledge, not a single Missouri basketball player has ever left the state and gone on to win a national title.

Off the top of my head, Hansbrough. Of course, guys like Beal, Lee, Porter and countless others never amounted to anything.

Oh, and I'm not predicting Washington wins a natty either. I am predicting that Porter brings some fans to the place and makes it fun to watch.

Meh, it's basketball.

Who cares?

You say you do, but honestly, you don't.

Danny Jones @daniel_m_jones
One thing that was interesting: Jontay said Michael's decision ultimately came down to Washington and Virginia.

He might be a one and done anyhoots!

In all seriousness, I am happy he chose to go somewhere and stand on his own. Its so easy to just go to one of the best programs in the nation and be just another guy. I knew MU never had a chance when we decided to keep KA. I never got by hopes up. Maybe we can get some 3* JUCO guy instead.

hmmm. Stay in COMO or go to one of the most beautiful campuses in the country in Seattle.

Tough decision

Let's not shoot too high. 2* is probably more realistic.

Have any of KAs recruits been 2 stars?
Probably doesn't matter because this should be his last year, unless this team really develops.

I have also heard that 2016 recruiting may not be done. May take a grad transfer this year, if they can find the right one.

Mostly 3* or 4* players that we have developed into 2* players.

Seems other than Puryear all the guys have played as one would expect 3 & 4 star guys to play as freshmen.
Puryear, Walton, & Phillips could be a pretty good core group as juniors and seniors. If they stick together.

We all said this about Wright, Gant, and TGC. I fully believe Puryear is a solid player on an awful team which made him look better. I see no hope for this team as long as KA is the head coach. I get free season tickets to MU sports and will not even waste the gas money it would take to drive to como and watch a game.
