Gabe DeArmond ?@GabeDeArmond 1m
Curators meeting is over. Spokesman tells media "nothing to announce"

Seems like this is what they thought would happen though

No news is good news. Probably means they approved Marshall and are now letting him handle telling his WSU players on his terms. At least that's what I'm hoping!

At this point I'm having a hard time understanding the top secret nature of this thing. What's the purpose?

You can let the current coach break it to his players face to face in a team meeting rather than them hear it on Twitter. He can personally tell his boss he's resigning to take another job.

It is actually civilized.

I kind of figure the next thing we will hear about is a coach calling a meeting with his players. Unless it's Howland. But if it was Howland why continue with the secrecy even after the meeting?

It would appear it's not Howland.

Kirk Wessler ?@KirkWessler 3m
Pending approval by curators, Kim Anderson will be Mizzou's basketball coach. Source calls it "a done deal."

All signs point to Marshall, unless they are waiting for the coach to arrive to introduce him.

That guy doesn't know shite.

I will say that now that we have all taken our cups off and relaxed an Anderson nut shot becomes much more likely

Wouldn't trust that, he tweeted it after the meeting is over.

AKA approval would have already happened. Low twitter followers looks like some fricking hack

Such as?

Which signs point to Marshall the coach of the university that seems to have no fear over losing him who coaches the players who are not concerned that he's leaving in a town where the media has no inclination that he is even considering taking off?

I think a few things are likely.

It's a current coach.
The salary is bigger than normal.

It's a current coach because we still know nothing even after the BOC has met. (Assuming they approved. The meeting wasn't too long, so it looks like a rubber stamp meeting. Haith's contract with the BOC took two hours.)

To be sure, Alden wanted approval of the big number from the BOC before finalizing everything with the candidate. Now the candidate can control the news on his end.

There are other Scenarios that would fit, but that makes sense.

Yes a douche from Peoria with no followers. It really doesn't get more official than that
