My all time favorite Tiger is now leading the NFL in sacks.

He is completely dominating this game tonight.

His whole story makes me happy. What a resilient young man. He created his own opportunities. Couldn't be happier for him and he is a great ambassador for Mizzou.

Yup. It's not only that he was a great player, but just the kind of kid (now man) he was/is.

Showed great resilience to even get here. Great leader. Such a hard worker. Just a great representive of Mizzou on every level.

Very happy for him. He deserves all of this.

If by resilient young man you mean not like the other Mizzou guy that was drafted higher and is a douche bag then I agree.

Bc of his actions during his last year at Mizzou for one. Almost cost us the game at A&M with his shitty unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after we stopped them on 4th down......there were other unsportsmanlike conduct penalties during the season as well. Look em' up.

And his whole "I was treated badly because I'm black" bullshite too.

Timing for that game was great too. A sad, awful day in the Affton community this morning, followed up with a Affton kid dominating prime time football.

He never said any of the nonsense that was said in this post, plus I went to Mizzou from 1977-1981 and it was hell, but believe me I was crazy back then along with my buddies and we wouldn't back down from anybody.

What Ray said was also echoed by other former Mizzou players(especially Kim English) who said that most star players didn't have it as bad as non star players and regular Black students.

If you are old enough and from St. Louis you might remember when Onion Horton and the late Morris Henderson(owner of the St. Louis American Newspaper) called for a boycott of Mizzou by Black players because of the racial tension and climate and Al Onofrio not wanting to recruit the PHL in St. Louis city and the Eastside(East St. Louis)

Why is it so hard to believe that his experiences didn't include feeling unwanted because of race? OU players said the same thing, and had a video to back it up, Ole Miss players said they have to mindful of which bars they frequent, wasn't a few years ago a Bama sorority still wasn't accepting AA pledges? And Nub fans talk about "Lynching" players just last week.

Stupidity still pops up from time to time. Being a football player doesn't shield you from it. In fact I imagine in some ways it sucks more as so many people are so envious of their athletic ability, that they feel compelled to shite on them any chance they get.
