Im just confused how Witter gets 10 yard gaps and Crockett has to break 9 tackles to get 5 yards
They aren't 10 yard gaps. Witter is just that small.

Seems like he's hurt every week.

This team I swear to god.
When have this many penalties, terrible special teams, worst 3rd down defense and turnover in the FBS you need a new coach.

You guys are better than me. I can't and won't even watch the game.

You know nothing! I never came off the field. Fullback, safety, punter and kicker, so shut your trap until you're knowledgeable enough to speak!

There a reason we dont throw the ball down the field more

Throwing the ball downfield is the only reason we are on the scoreboard

Got to give credit to Odom! Got caught in a run blitz, and Snell broke it big. If not for that, defense has played better. Offense has finally started moving the ball some. That will help the defense too.
Remember 2-3 games ago, teams were screening us, mis directing us, and drawing us to death? Looks like coach has made some adjustments. Now eliminate the stupid drive killing penalties, and let's put a drive together to open the 2nd half and go ahead in this game. We caertainly have the momentum.

Can I have some of what you are smoking?

I still cant get past the turnover margin, 3rd down defense, stupid penalties, or the lack of discipline.
Mizzou is two bombs from being down 20-0.

he isn't wrong about the defense. The run blitz was poorly timed vs a well blocked inside zone play. Otherwise, it was their best half of ball all year.

True, but we don't really have momentum. And I can't give it to Odom until I see college ball worthy play on the field. Saying we're better is like saying the we finished second in a two man race.

Down 6 getting the ball back after the half on the road is the best 2nd half position they have been in all year.

True, but Snell got 71 of their 115 yards on a run blitz gone awry. The 2nd bomb was a brain fart on U.K. 'S part. But the 50 yd TD to Moore was executed very well. UK was in cover 2 and Lock fit the ball right in the seem on the sidelines. Moore did an amazing job of not screwing it up, and we got a TD. So, statistically it's pretty even!

This is the best we've played all year, on both sides of the ball. Of course, UK is playing a soft zone, and Lock should be able to pick it apart. Our receivers don't have cornerbacks in their face playing bump and run.

Agreed, competitive in the second half.
Why dont we run the ball in the redzone, shite drives me nuts
