I guess this means Kobe is gone too

quote:

The Tigers have already landed a trio of transfer wings in John Tonje, Tamar Bates, and Caleb Grill, the latter of whom committed Thursday. That pledge arrived the same day the staff played host Virginia post Kadin Shedrick and Florida State wing Matthew Cleveland. With Kaleb Brown’s exit, Gates has a pair of scholarships to accommodate both.

With 2 years of eligibility Cleveland a 6’7” 5* SF would be a great signing. He averaged 13.8 pts and 7.4 RB’s on a terrible 9-23 FSU team. He is ranked the 3rd best SF in the portal.

Shedrick started half of the UVA games last year. He is a 6’11” post that only averages 3.8 RB’s a game, but he is better than Diarra. Shedrick is ranked the 7th best center in the portal.

Probably lose Cleveland too. Rock M Nation jinxed us. They had them both almost as a lock at 5:00 am this morning. Texas probably promised more NIL money. Texas has only signed 5* SF Holland and Shedrick more money to go around

Probably go with a experienced PF. There’s not a lot of highly ranked options left at C or PF.

7’4” Olivier Nkamhoua out of FSU is still available. CY might be in contact with him.

Top ranked C available is Moussa Cisse from Okie State. Cisse is ranked 4th best C and Shedrick was 7th. There are more experienced, but we could probably afford his NIL unless it comes down to a bidding war.

Kaleb is coming back

Missouri basketball: Kaleb Brown will exit transfer portal, return to Tigers

quote:

Missouri basketball lost one of the Brown brothers when Kobe decided to stay in the NBA Draft. However, the Tigers won’t be without the family when they take the court for the 2023-24 season. Kaleb Brown announced Tuesday on social media that he’ll return to Missouri after initially entering the transfer portal. “I’m back,” a message at the end of a highlight video read.
