Suggs plays defense. That’s why he plays.

Cuonzo is in a spot where if he plays Puryear or Santos at the 4 the team is pretty good on defense, but really bad on offense. His best offensive lineup has Watson at the 4, but can’t stop anyone.

We need offense. This team can’t score.

Suggs is a piss poor athlete who can’t do anything offensively. You heard Anderson last night “You can guard THIS guy now can’t you?” One guess who he was talking about.

We can’t compete in the SEC with 6’5” guys at the 4.

And we can’t compete in the SEC with Mitchell Smith, Santos, Puryear or Watson getting minutes at the 4. Either Jontay needs to come back, Jackson needs to be ready to come in and contribute right away, need a grad transfer or Santos needs to get better fast.

Watson's not a 4 unless you're going 4 guard line up.

Watson has been the de facto 4 in the 4 guard lineups Mizzou has used. Which has been the best offensive lineup, although in limited usage. It’s also an equally bad defensive lineup.

Last year we needed point guards and now we need some athletic length at the 4. Jackson is more of a 3.

The only difference between a 3 and a 4 is who they can defend. Jackson has the length and athleticism to defend at both spots.
