I knew Maty Mauk would be better than a few of our East counterpart QBs without seeing meaningful snaps from him. Same for Lock.

QB next year is setting up to be as bad as this year’s secondary unless a rabbit is pulled from the hat. I personally hope a rabbit is pulled from the hat.

D1 also includes all the FCS teams as well as a lot of mid majors. So yes he’s a D1 QB. Kind of reminds me of a more polished Berkstresser at this stage.

Sometimes I wonder if you're trolling or just incredibly naive.

I really don't get where the thought that the DB's will be better comes from. I mean they might. Going from sucking tiger balls to sucking goat balls might be better because the goat won't kill you but neither one is a good option in my opinion.

The CBs are almost serviceable.

The issue is the safeties are beyond awful and we might have the slowest linebackers in college football.

The fact Cam Hilton sees 50 snaps a game should really tell you all you need to know about the secondary.

I’m not sure Sparks has been serviceable.

Gabe D posted some stats on Sparks, something like 75% of the passes thrown his way are completed.

It's pretty bad. Only reason he plays is because he can tackle.

No, you thought. Just like you think Wilson and Powell are bad. You don’t know.

I think Wilson can be quite good actually, but I don’t know.

You're losing an argument when you start parsing words.

Wilson has thrown 10 passes in 2 years, one of which was an interception.

Everytime he has come in the game this year he has only ran the ball.

They're confident in his ability to throw

The way the team finishes the season can make it an easy decision or a really hard one.
Easy if the team gives up and goes 4-8, or gets Hall back and goes 8-4.

I hope we go 8-4.

I'm just done expecting Odom to beat good teams.

Parsing words? What?

The argument here is a couple of posters claim to “know” that Wilson and Powell are bad when they can’t possibly “know” that. It’s quite literally impossible for them to “know”

All we “know” is they haven’t gotten any meaningful snaps because Mizzou is committed to Mr Hometown Heisman contender.

He’s only played in garbage time. You should know stuff like this.

Be better

Yet when Powell plays in garbage time he's allowed to throw?

This we agree on.

I think he's back with anything 6-6 or better. And he might deserve it with that. I don't know. I only know it doesn't move the needle for me or get me to spend money.

I think the hard decision is if he is 5-7.

Actually I'd like to see more of Wilson playing. What I've seen so far is he has some wheels. I want to see some of his decision making and throws. He is intriguing.

Powell can also catch the snap.
