CF: Head coach Josh Heupel will earn $1.7 million annually (which would rank 7th among AAC head coaches) with a staff salary pool of $2.5 million. If he were to leave before their 2020 bowl game, Heupel would owe UCF a buyout of $10 million.

He also gets incentives based on ticket sales which I’ve never heard of before. But it’s smart as it gives him more of a reason to market their program.

Frost should have been hired by Nebraska originally.

Heupel isn't a guy I've heard being connected to anywhere the same way.

Neither was frost until this year. Frost could have taken the Florida or UT jobs. Frost only had 1 winning season. Heupal puts together 2 winning seasons and big offensive stats and the offers will come.

Happy for JH. UCF is a pretty good HC job for a first timer. I would have been disappointed if he had left for the S.Alabama HC job.
