...will this season cost Mizzou?

And I fear some of our better players are looking at the portal more intently.

If our good players do, Drink is doomed.

It must be puzzling that he doesn't see that. Plus, if he hires a good OC then it should be okay. Let pray that Horn will take over sooner than later.

Don't worry, recruiting is drinks thing. Surely he can't screw that up.

Why the frick do you morons think a "good" OC will change anything?

The players STILL have to execute and they aren't doing that. I don't give a rat's arse who is calling the plays if the players can't block, catch, pass, run there's not an OC alive who will make a difference.

That's just a lazy arse, always unhappy Mizzou fan thing to say.

What jabroni thing to say. I don’t think Drink puts the talent he does have in the best position to win.

Dude couldn’t even get Luther invoked in the 2nd half after a hot first half.

Do you think coaching could help the players learn how to execute?

That is why it is best for Drinkwitz to hire an OC for next year.

Why would an OC be able to do anything differently?

As far as "invoking" Luther, what invocation do you think Drink should have used?

Luther will make a giant leap next year. Right now, he has flashes of greatness. Then, the next play, he'll miss his blocking assignment and we'll have a loss on the play.

He's a freshman. He will get better at all things including getting separation from Dbacks. He's not always open even on plays where he might be the #1 target.

Josh Heupel:

Missouri (2016–2017) Offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach

He took Drew Lock and made him an NFL level talent. I would be willing to wager if Drew Lock were here under Drink, he would not be drafted. A good OC/QB coach can develop talent.

Disagree with that narrative.
I think Heupel harmed Lock's progress. Lock was a highly touted recruit out of high school, probably would have been rated higher had he entertained other big school offers for longer.
Heupel had Lock only looking at one side of the field on a lot of plays.
