I have the team winning between 18-23 games. 7 to 11 SEC wins. I expect them to be in a position the last 1-2 weeks if the season to make the NCAA tournament

Higher hopes that what I think. Only way I see that is if Giest surprises me. Im hearing that theres a chance, but I have to see it. Watson will be a great 4 year player, but I dont see him as a threat this season.

That being said, Mizzou has to have the best or top 2 best front courts in the SEC. That is if tilmon keeps his hands off people.

My prediction, 9 ooc wins, 9-9 in sec play, 18 wins. NIT bound.

The real excitement is back the next year.

Kentucky has the best frontcourt in the SEC.
some other teams with really good frontcourts are LSU, Tennessee, Auburn and Mississippi State.

Jontay will not allow this team to miss the NCAA.

They’ll be a better all around team than last year.

Not sure how the hell you can think that.

Wrong side of the bubble sounds about right.

The front court should be VERY good, but this backcourt would have to really surprise to not be a liability.

Short on talent, depth and experience

I was more or less referring to "They’ll be a better all around team than last year."

we hear that every year.

If Tilmon plays to the level hes capable to, alongside with Porter, thats lethal. That's near unstoppable.

It’s too early to say there’s not talent at guard.

I didn’t say there wasn’t any talent, I said we are short on it.

Geist is what he is. Watson I believe is very talented. Pinson needs a ton of development. Pickett is just a guy. Who knows on Guess. He better be a real diamond in the rough or wevare in trouble. No backup PG to speak of.

Yea it’s too early to say we are short on guard talent. Some of the players you mentioned might be good.

The offense is going to go through Jontay and a lesser extent Tilmon, so as long as the guards can hit open shots and drive at the rim the offense should be about as good as last season.

So as long as the guards are good we’ll be good?

Yeah, I agree. Just think that is a dubious proposition at best

No it’s too early to say that they will or won’t be good. Other than Geist we haven’t seen any of them look like against college competition. Guards could be good, they could also be really bad. Either way Jontay will be the focal point of the offense.

Of course its too early, but they weren't lights out recruits. Id be shocked, yet happy, if Watson or santos were an impact this year.

Guess what im saying is they're way to many ?'s to have an idea.

Watson was a big time recruit. Santos is a guy the staff is said to be really high on. They are question marks but they would be the least of my worries.

Behind them is where it becomes extremely dicey and we have no backup PG to speak of.

Guess is extremely raw offensively, but his athleticism and competitiveness will make him a great defender. I think he eventually is a guy that can defend 1-4 and be an all-conference defender.
