Where was Mahomes at this time last year?

I'm telling you. It's a very real possibility he comes out, and he will look astounding in shorts and end up going high.

Hopefully he stays because he wants a legacy, but if he wants to go he can and will be a high pick.

He’s been looking astounding in pads for about 6 weeks too. I don’t want him to go, but IMO he’s a first rounder this yr. if he jumps. Hoping he decides to ball out for ZOU one more yr.

Current South Alabama HC is making $565K. Not sure what Heupel makes, but probably that or more.

South Alabama isn't a bad job but it would be, at the very best, a lateral move and a pay cut. There is enough talent to build a good Sunbelt team in the area... the problem is that they already have a good Sunbelt team in the area at Troy.

Its tempting to become a head coach sure, but I think another good year at Missouri would have his name in the running for bigger and better jobs. If I was his agent I'd advise him to pass on this one.

Some folks have Wikipedia editing powers they shouldn't have. Nah, we won't get Gus and I won't shed too many tears over it. He can coach but there is a lot of baggage that comes with him.

Lock will be back for his Senior year; he will want to lead Missouri to a much better season. I expect Heupel to come back also, he has 10 starters on offense returning; counting Damarea.
