The thought has truly crossed my mind, but I haven't ventured to tRant. My thought was, if you say you can't/don't support the University anymore and you want to speak bad of it, then why should they be allowed to post here? How are they any different than Porker or any other at this point? But the second I do that, you know what happens, not that I give a frick myself, but I don't want to do that if it pisses off the rational posters here.

If someone has the time and effort to link me some, I'll certainly look at them and contemplate it. I may even venture there myself. Any particular threads I should look at?

I don't blame anyone either. Everyone is over-reacting in a big way. I'm just watching to make sure this board doesn't get out of control.

Rest assured, we notice who is trashing Mizzou. We see it.

The only thing I can really say is that this, too, shall pass. Down the road, it will be just a blip on the radar. Just like other scandals that rocked Mizzou. No one thinks about Ricky Clemons anymore, right?

So, hang in their frands. We will get through it.

It's going to take a while man.

I doubt it's really over either. Not trying to be crude or wish anyone ill, but it would be a good time for a big news story.

Here's hoping a satellite falls out of the sky and lands in the desert.

They are playing up to the mob, and it's frustrating, because I understand what they are doing, but at the same time, I can't just deny my fandom because I'm pissed about something.

A couple of them have even created alters to put down Mizzou. That's unforgivable to me.

You hit the nail on the head. They see other SEC fans trashing Mizzou. Then they want to join in. People saying don't give money to Mizzou, don't attend games are a damn fool. It'd only hurt Mizzou's endowment, TSF fund, etc. Ok send your kids to Missouri State, NW Missouri State, Central Missouri, Truman, etc. That'd only hurt Mizzou and their funding from the state. Yes lets have Mizzou drop from Tier 1 Status and go down to Tier 2-3 like some other SEC schools.

People buy into shite from these SEC "fans". They'd love to see Mizzou fall in academics, funding, etc. They sure as hell don't already like Mizzou, they'd encourage Mizzou fans, alumni not to donate to the university. Mizzou fans are falling for it, I'm not gonna do this, I'm not gonna do that just to look cool for SEC ranters.

I still go by my stance that athletes shouldn't get involved with social issues. If anything Mizzou fans should feel sorry for those players. They got played. That brotha probably told them if they didn't stand up they'd be an "uncle tom", "sellout", white people only care about them because they are an athlete, etc. Some black Athletes aren't that bright, now let some smart black power brotha get into their head. Sad.

I've heard the shite when I posted on a HBCU sports board...Why you going to a white school, are you too good to go to HBCU's, they don't want you there, etc. So I can only imagine what the regular black power students said to the football players.
