Has It Sunk In Yet?

It really hasn't sunk in for me yet. But the closer we get to Saturday, it's slowly sinking in that Mizzou has arrived......finaly.
I also am liking our chances with Auburn. With all the media hype over the Ironbowl, that game is still going to be rattling around in thier heads this week. I think with the media focusing mostly on Auburn, it makes Mizzou look like they don't have much of a chance in this game. I think the media at this point is overlooking a very dangerous team in Mizzou.

As of this exact minute, Auburn players are STILL tweeting about the Iron Bowl. I cant even believe it. They are not ready for Mizzou. Malzahn might be ready, but his players wont, which is a huge percentage of what matters.

I was thinking the same thing. That was a gigantic game for them. Seen it multiple times.. I don't think they'll be at their best. I'm certainly pulling for Mizzou.

My dad and I went to the game together. He is a Mizzou alum from the 60s. We've seen a lot of bad football teams combined. So it's still a little surreal. But that stadium was electric. And now, I'm ready for Saturday.

I grew up in COMO in the 70's and 80's. I remember eating lunch with my dad under the S end zone when they were good and names like Bradley, Edelemen, Wilder, and Richards were there. I also remember being excited when we played K-State as they might be our only win on the year in the 80's. This team is a team of destiny IMHO. For the first time in a long time, they have not over achieved BUT accomplished their goals. That is a great feeling around this once maligned program. Proud to be a Tiger fan!
