We're not even that. That scenario is Final Four type stuff.

We're like the guy who makes 50k and believes he just landed an incredible job, so he goes out a purchases a 50k car and a wardrobe to try to "look the part", but the moment you walk in his house you realize it's not furnished and what little stuff is in the house is cheap Chinese crap.

We have a long ways to go.

Power Mizzou has all their offers. Most came from our two current commits and Wes Clark.

you have every right to be self loathing, but Mizzou has won many championships. The FF has been a big deal since the tournament went to 64 teams. College basketball goes back further than that.

If you want to ignore what Mizzou has done so you can point to only what Mizzou hasn't done, that is your choice. But to say Mizzou isn't a very good historical basketball program would be flat out laughed at by any basketball pundit.

Ahh come on kills.. MU basketball is historically a top 30 program. And right now, it's a top 20 program for sure with a very healthy prospectus for the near future. You're cuttin' us a little short.

Kills.. We got playoff baseball today, it's in the 80's, a hint of Missouri humidity, the grass is green, the beer is cold, the brats are about to go on the grill at Busch, Waino has the ball... let's go, let's f'n go. Loathing is not in the Cards today (see what I did).

Thanks. I didn't look at our current commits. Afraid of jinxing things.

Amen to that. Sports are for entertainment and fun. Why even follow Mizzou if you can't enjoy it? And if losing makes you depressed, don't follow Mizzou.

Let's be honest here, the kick in the nuts is virtually guaranteed once a year in some form or fashion. Wether it's football or basketball doing the kicking doesn't matter.

Most of us "older" Mizzou fans are snakebitten, and inherently negative towards our fandom. That's not going to change anytime soon.

It doesn't make us lesser fans. Mizzou has just made us grumpy old men, and it started at an early age for most of us.

Oh frick off with your pissy bullshite, nonsense98. I'm not depressed about Mizzou. Not in the slightest. However, I am a realist. If you want to believe Mizzou basketball is elite...go ahead.

And by the way, I'm not leaving this board. You're stuck with me fricker.

As for you, Sleepy...yes, I'm a diehard Cards fan! Super excited about tonight and the rest of the playoffs!

Remote gets it.

I think some people like nonsense98 need to take off the beer goggles and look at the program with sober eyes.

If you enjoy blindly believing that we're an elite program, go ahead.

Did you miss the multiple times I flat out stated Mizzou basketball wasn't elite? Read more, flame less.

This one is self explanatory and hardly needs pointed out. Take your defeat with dignity like all of us Mizzou fans are used to doing since we do nothing but lose.

You know, the reason I reply to you in the manner I do is because you've been incredibly apologetic to non-Mizzou posters for the rhetoric of Mizzou fans on this board. That's fricking lame. As if anyone on this board truly cares how people act.

This is the rant. It's a known troll den. This is not Tiger Board and it's not high school.

Have fun and stop trying to make this place a serious forum because that will never happen.

Because Haith is a good recruiter.
Because Fuller is a good recruiter.
Because Missouri is an attractive program.
Because Missouri has impressive facilities.
Because recruits care more about their draft stock than whether or not a team is a "blue blood," and Haith has had some success coaching up players.
Because we don't let mizzoukills talk to recruits.
Because recruits like Columbia.
Because Pinkelcopter.

Pick the answer you like. All of us are outsiders. All we can do is speculate. If you didn't want to hear our speculation, you shouldn't have asked the question.

Concerning your other question... No. I'm not worried.

I'd be like, "I don't know, fella...perhaps you should consider Kentucky."
