And there is where we differ. 4-8 is mediocre for some whereas I consider 6-6 to be mediocre.

The problem with the progress is that they actually have regressed from where they finished last year. If you continually move the bar lower and lower, it's not very hard to show improvement. In fact, I think I had this same conversation about KA. But I know...no comparison between the two.

I hope he does get it turned around and quickly. I doubt it, but I hope he does.

I still think Muschamp is a better comparison. Young elite defensive coordinator that will get another shot if he isn't successful the first time around. That's not KA. KA hadn't even been coaching D1 for 12 years when Mizzou hired him. Everything around the game had changed.

We return 15 of 22 starters next year, I hope he at least gets a chance to coach that team otherwise I fear we will waste that roster with a coaching turnover.

I'm pulling for Barry, I just can't excuse a team that looks like it spent all offseason playing Madden instead of actual football.

I mean the fundamentals on this team are just awful.
