Because he couldn't make the grades in high school and played bullshite games until Mizzou gave him a shot. Now that he's doing well he's going to jump ship just like that?

If Ballard comes here he would have a decent shot at starting in Moore's spot next year. So it would be a big blow.
Davis is another option there if he gets his test score up this fall.

Maybe the other 3 we have committed are that? Maybe Ballard doesn't pan out? Maybe he ends up sticking and does? Maybe not.
We'll get answers to all of these things in time. These things happen, to every program. That's how recruiting works.

He should start over Mason based on the first 2 games. Maybe start over Moore. He's played more snaps than Mason, so starting may not really matter.

BOs not there yet as a coach. Those of us that believe in him knew that it would take him a couple years to figure out how to be a head coach.
When he figures it out, he may not be the coach at Mizzou. I'm ok with a couple mediocre years as long as I see progress throughout the season.
