Looks like we are looking at this guy. Would be a welcome addition. The depth on the DL is a bit worrisome.

He played in 3 games before being dismissed from VT on 9/23 after a loss to Old Dominion for an incident in the locker room.

He had 1.5 sacks against ODU and 2 sacks against Florida State. The article said he was VT best DL. It would be a nice get unless he would be a cancer on the team.

Looks like he would give Jeffcoat and Hansford a year to develop. Their the most talented at the position now, but probably aren’t ready yet.

If they do develop, Brick could move Byers to DT. I think he’s better at that position.

Yup, would give us some more flexibility on the DL for sure...and some much needed depth.

What happened to defensive end Shemar Pearl that committed to Mizzou for next year? I noticed that he didn't sign with us. I can only assume it's academics and maybe he will sign in February or go JUCO. He looks good on tape and plus he had some big time bluebloods after him. Anybody know the 411?
