The crowd was almost non-existent last saturday night. We have an SEC quality team with a Big 12 crowd mentality.

The average adult UGA, FLA, TN, BAMA, LSU fan is a different breed than the adult Mizzou fan. Think that makes a difference..

The stadium isn't really built in a way to keep in noise either..

I complained about this earlier in the year, but I've changed my mind. The USC and TN games were pretty loud were I was sitting. Faurot will never be a loud place until we can fill in the seating on the north end. But the fans are trying.

I thought they sounded pretty good on tv. Seemed like a good atmosphere.

Exactly. They need to build vertically and keep the sound in.

You can only cheer so loud during a blowout. I'm glad we didn't run it up, but really, you couldn't cheer in the 4th. It got to be unseemly.

UT simply wasn't there to play.

But I echo the other posters regarding closing in the Hill.

For those of you that think Faurot isn't loud, you need to ask the players how it sounds on the field. You'll be surprised.

ME TOO. Ill try to post the link on my Faurot expansion post. That was a good thread where you guys can express your thoughts. Hold on.

* And I call for the expansion of the south end zone. I just dont think they will expand vertically on the north. I tweeted at @mutigersdotcom and they said that they the south end zone expansion is "in the master plan, but our focus is the east side expansion for now"

I've always said the student section is horrible but our locals are very good. The students don't even fill up their whole section and it looks really bad with the Tigers Lair doing their own thing. They had those pomp poms for the South Carolina game but the while stadium should have got them which would have been awesome.

not sure you know what you are talking about. I was sitting in Section LL high up, and one of my, (lets say good friends ) who goes to Mizzou, who went to my highschool (im only a senior) came up our section and saw me. She sat with me and my friend because the student section was so packed she couldnt find a single place to stand with her friend anywhere in the student section.
