Florida and Arkansas have more problems than a “stud” coach can fix in 1 year. Now, year 2....I imagine they will be very good. But it took Mullen several years to turn Miss St. around. Nearly got fired a couple of times.

Florida is going to have a much easier time turning it around. They have much better access to recruits. Arkansas is going to have to flip their roster for the style that Morris wants to play. Morris is a gamble hire anyway. A reasonable gamble, but still a gamble. Mullen is proven at this level.

Morris is a great hire for Arkansas. I thought he would have been a great option at Mizzou had BO failed this year.

We'll see. He's the latest spread coach that had success at a mid major. No high major experience. Some of those guys hit, some don't.

If he does win it won't be a quick turnaround. That roster is not built for his style. Neither offense or defense.

Morris was a key assistant in Clemson going from a team that went 6-7 in the Dabo’s 3rd year to one of the top 2-3 programs in college the last few seasons.

If Fisch can make a similar type impact at Mizzou BO will be very successful at Mizzou.

Again, I don't think it's a bad hire.

It's a gamble though. A reasonable one. He did pretty well at SMU and deserved a shot to see what he can do with the big boys. We'll see.

8-9 wins. Win a bowl game. Beat at least 1 bowl-eligible football team during the regular season.

Maybe show any sign of life on the recruiting front?

In BO’s first season he beat 3 bowl eligible teams, but only had 4 total wins. It seems odd that after this season it’s now a barometer of success.
