Do you ever feel your palette on the top of your mouth and feel how your tongue fits perfectly in there and wonder if your tongue being there is the reason your palette is shaped that way or if it's just a coincidence?

Yep. I try to get out and about, but when you're with someone who has never really been there, they want to see two things. The Strip and Fremont.

It's what sucks about living here. I'd like to go show them the cool shite that I enjoy, but they want to see the Vegas everyone knows, just like everyone else.
The most tiring thing about living in Vegas is having family/friends/buddies from the rest of the country come visit every other month. I seem like an a-hole when they visit now, but I just prefer to pick them off, drop them off, and maybe have a dinner and a night with them. Trying to stick it out as tour guide with a bunch of frickers trying to spend their vacation savings is brutal.
ETA: ET Highway is only cool if you Geocache.

I used to go out and rage with them, but it gets tiring. They save up their money and their whole attitude for a week out, which is okay. Trying to match them up drink for drink or dollar for dollar when there's another group of family/friends/assholes coming in six weeks later is brutal.
I live here, I know it's awesome when you want to enjoy Vegas. I just can't fricking do the Vegas thing four weeks a year with people that spend years wanting to do this for the week they're here.

They shut most of the desert off for shooting when they opened Harry Reid's shooting range here (Which is awesome, but an amazing waste of money LINK)
However, you can still go off plinking in the desert, just not in the Valley. We used to be able to shoot out in whatever desert we wanted to.

Were these people lightweights or heavyweights when it comes to drinking?
Dudes get fricked up, but you only see them drink once.
Ole Joan gets messed up after Peter Campbell gives her a drink in the meeting with the banker when they're going public. Did she pregame?
It seems like they drink a lot, which is admirable, but do we just assume they drink a lot, or do they really drink a lot?
Heavy drinker like we assume Don is doesn't puke at a friend's mother's wake. He excuses himself and pukes in the begonias in the front yard.
So, are these guys rally drunks to be respected, or is it all a ruse?
