Dave matter said something about it being disciplinary.

quote:

In May, multiple sources told the Post-Dispatch that Ballard was being investigated for an undisclosed disciplinary issue.

He also said he hasn’t been arrested and expects to be back soon.

Some good news is the team is going to be moving to the opposite sideline this year. So no longer will the players and coaches be staring into the sun on afternoon games. And the other sideline offers more shade on hot afternoon games. I don’t get why Pinkel wanted that sideline in the first place. Most home teams take the sideline next to the press boxes, so this is a welcome change.

After initially deciding against switching sidelines on Faurot Field, the Missouri football team will indeed move to the west sideline for the 2018 season. The ongoing construction of Memorial Stadium's new south end zone complex factored into the move, helped by a waiver from the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers have been on the east sideline since the 2001 season, Gary Pinkel's first year as head coach.

Time to turn the page and get Missouri to do things that makes sense! Also getting Missouri to be much improved team year in and year out. This is making smart football decision that will make Missouri a better overall team in the long run with Barry Odom as the head coach. This year should be a good year and get Missouri to another bowl game and go back to back bowl games and keep that going every year. That is only way to bring in good recruits.

Exactly. On your home turf you should have every allowable home field advantage as possible. And it will be harder for opposing coaches in the press boxes to steal signals.

Hall has a hamstring issue. Not sure how serious.

Jordan Elliot and Ronnell Perkins have knee injuries, also not sure how serious

If I had to guess, Badie, Ware and Bolton are going to be special teams contributors. Hearing that Scott is pushing the two deep isn't surprising but Knox factoring is a good problem to have.

Daniel Parker practicing with the TEs is interesting. He mauled people run blocking for his team in HS. He chips the edge and releases into the second level, that defender better have his hips square or he is going for a ride.

If Dooley thinks we’re short at WR, does that mean that Parker might be getting groomed to so that we can run multiple tight ends at WR in red zone situations?

This has more to do with Swinson going down and Logan C getting concussed than WR depth. I think there was a plan to run multiple TE sets regardless of the WR situation because of what Blanton and Albert can offer moving the chains.
