I hear ya. I guess what concerns me is whatever firm didn't seem to do a very good job of investigating Haith's past questionable activities. Again, I'm not nixing Howland. He's still probably my 2nd choice. Just trying to get a grasp of what it is Mizzou might be bringing on board.

My understanding is we are using a different firm than the one with Haith.

I don't see how a firm is involved and keeps it this quiet. The more people involved in a conspiracy the easier it is to find out.
How does a firm investigate Howland without making calls? Every person they call is a potential leak, and there have been no leaks. I don't see it.

Just guessing here, but maybe the search firm had already investigated him beforehand, so no leaks would explain it.

Good point. I suppose then it could be a blind type of investigation and nobody would really know who was investigating him and for what team.
