What the doo doo are you talking about? Are you saying that Arky and Kentucky had a better rosters than Mizzou last year?(2020) During the off season those coaches made their rosters better and Drink had the same opportunity.

So...you are telling me that Drink needs a few more years to get his players in as where Arky, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Miss St. coaches did it after one year?

This again is about Drink being the head coach and not the OC. Again...this isn't about firing Drink! Goodnes!!!

Zou brownmajic, you seem like he isn't getting it done no matter what! I am giving him a pass since Mizzou been so bad and had a terrible roster for so long. It is now time to let him do it HIS way and give him that 4 years to get it done. I am seeing progress and it will take time to get it done. Yes, he may stumble like any HC that doesn't have a lot of experienced but corrects it as he continues to build a good football program. Why not sit back and let him do it his way and wait and see what he is doing before you try to make him look bad over somethings you really have no idea what he is trying to do as a HC. He is going to be making adjustments over the course of his time here at Mizzou. He is in need of time to get the pieces together and there will be some hiccups along the way. Like coaches get hire away and it is Mizzou and not Alabama or one of the top programs. Give him time to make it work. Odom had his chance and no way he will be better if Mizzou give him a second chance. It is his poor recruiting history that have hurt Mizzou over the years. Mizzou needs to go in a different direction to change what hasn't work over the years. I am talking about one key thing and that is now working and that is recruiting better players! Drinkwitz is the first to actually be successful in doing it.

I had to find some proof that I'm not the only one that feels that Drink needs to stick with what he does best and find an offensive coordinator. I'm not the only TROLL who thinks this.

I heard that it's on PM, also but I don 't have a subscription.

I understand you about OC but it is his football program and he is doing fine! If you do not like his offense, then maybe he is doing things the way he does for a reason. He did contact those offensive recruits to come to Mizzou. How would that work if he hires an OC that wants control and do things his way? Then maybe in 1 year or two he will more likely bolt for a top program that are in need an OC. You see what I am saying? Mizzou is a stepping stone for any coaches. It is why Odom had to find another OC and it costed him his job down the road! Keep dreaming coaches will want to stay and build a successful program and do what Gary Pinkel did. He kept the coaching staff for a long time for a reason! Nowadays OC and DC will bolt for a better program in a second. He is trying to set up the offense schemes continuity as long as he can so it will be easier for everyone. Yes, there will need to be some adjustments but what Drinkwitz is doing is trying to show his identity as the offense to run and let recruits know that. When he gets better players at most positions then it should be smoother. Give him time to get it going with better players!

Have you seen OCs and DCs leave for better program for the same position? I have and it is going to hurt the ones that have to recplace them. Then have to learn the offense all over again. See what happened to Mizzou DC left last year and it took the last 4 games to settled down.

No more excuses next season

blaming cement head, those days are over. Drink has had enough classes to have the 2 deep full with his players.

I agree. We should really get a strong sense of Drink as a coach next year.

I believe Drink is who is he is. Looking at Kansas State last night and the improvements South Carolina made during their bowl game made my predictions for next year go down for Drink.

Don't get mad if he goes 6 wins. This is a tough schedule.

I will give him time to build a sucessful football program. That should be 2022/2023.

Huh? Maybe for a big12 team but for an SEC team it is not a tough schedule. At this point the only game to assume as a loss is UGA. Every other team could be good or just OK and we have the potential to go from mediocre to good next year.

Its a harder schedule than last two years.

Kstate will be a top 25 team.
Never easy to win @ Auburn.
USC is likely better than they've been.
We're @ Florida

UK and Ark(as of now) are probably easier games than last year.
