0Dude is the worst lineup manager in the league.
Over substitutes.
Slows the pace down on purpose.
Refuses to extend the defense.
Handcuffs Pinson.
Dude just sucks as a head coach. Literally sucks.
And it’s sucks because we are doing so well this season and it’s going to allow him more time.
We will never amount to anything with him as our head coach.

- He can recruit
- Isn't a great x and o HC. Needs right assistants around him.
Problem with Counzo is none of the above bullet points seems to have come to fruition at Mizzou.
Underperformed recruiting St Louis. He had little impact there.
"Counzo Ball" is more important than coaching to the talent on the roster.

The only person handcuffing Pinson tonight was Pinson. Horrible game management. Awful shot selection. Bad turnover and poor overall decision making. If he had performed even averagely, we would’ve only been down 5-8 pts at half.
Then he came out in the second half, immediately took a couple bad shots and turned the ball over.
One of his worst games ever.

Barnes game plan for us was perfect and Tennessee executed it.
Cuonzo had no plan B. I’m not sure he had a plan A.
They gummed up the pick and roll at the top of the key all night. Took Drew completely out of the offense.

Me too. Thats the ONLY thing he has even done semi consistently in his career yet he hasn't done that here at Mizzou.
So the main point stands. If he cant recruit St Louis. We know he isnt a good X and O guy. Why the frick are we wasting our time?

The biggest problem is he hasn’t done that here outside of the first class and that can pretty much all be attributed to hiring Porter Sr
This team isn’t bad. Got blown out tonight but I bet they still make the tournament. The problem is it took him a SR laden team just to be decent and we are right back to square one next year.

on 12/30/20 at 10:23 pm to the808bassThe reason that I said Braun and M. Smith is that Smith plays like he's about 6'1 and Braun plays no defense and too slow. Both players should be blocking shots and not getting their shots blocked by smaller players so much.(Especially Smith)
