Cotton Bowl Uniforms

I think the Cotton Bowl knows something that we do not. On their official shirt on their official website, the helmet is a black matte..... BLOCK M!

I do not believe this is a mistake. They do not screw things like this up, when there are serious $$$ made on these shirts. Plus, if it was a mistake, they would've had the original gloss helmet. Even if they were unaware of the tigers' helmet choice, being that it is usually a announced the Thursday before, they would have the new standard ones.
Guys, I think we are wearing throwbacks (with a modern twist) against our old Big 12 opponents.

Those just look like our old helmets. Hopefully that is what we are wearing and not a mistake by the Cotton Bowl of putting our old helmets on the shirts.

Love the Helmet! I hope those are worn for the game.
And I would support having those worn at least once a year (i.e Homecoming, Bowl game).

Is that even an eligible uniform? I don't know how college does it but don't you have to have all of your uniform items(not combinations) selected before the start of the season?

No. A lot of teams create uniforms for the big game. The beast mode jerseys were introduced a week or so before the debuted. If this was a rule, MU couldve approved it before the season, in case we were to play a Big12 team.
For example, the helmets used in the SECCG were either just new, or they cleared them before the season. I would bet the planned to use them in a bowl game, but knew the SECCG was the bigger spotlight.

First, this was obviously a mistake by some Cotton Bowl employee.
