What's wrong with an OAN shirt?

Define wrong. Technically, wearing white robes aren't "wrong" in the sense that you have the freedom to wear whatever you want. Certain judgments are passed on those white robes though and if you're trying to convince young, black athletes that you're a great guy, your job probably just got harder by wearing that white robe. Oh, and you're (not you JP, the person in the white robe) probably an a-hole who bangs either his cousin or his goat or on a good night both at the same time.

Actually, I already know the answer to that. God forbid any one has conservative views in 2020. Capitulate to the mob or be destroyed.

Now that is a tiresome mantra. If I say nothing is wrong with the views expressed on OAN (even if I don't truly believe that), aren't I capitulating to the mob on the other side?

And absolutely nothing wrong with being conservative. I live about as conservative of a life as there is (well, my view of conservatism which includes being faithful to my wife, not paying pornstars to bang me).

Personally lost trust in the network when they told politicians they would push any message they want (implying whether it was true or false) if they would just come on their station so they could get viewers, which in turn would finally allow them to get the advertising dollars. Espousing true conservative values is not a problem to me. They go well beyond that though when you start getting into the different conspiracy theories they espouse.

While I read on-line news and, sometimes, even struggle through parts of Der Spiegel and Le Monde...I admit that I had never heard of OAN before this opened up.

I gotta disagree reedus. The man makes his living in the living rooms of black families. It's stupid to take a chance on alienating your core supporters. That's why apologizing makes since. If I make my living selling Klan robes, I don't wear a BLM tshirt in public.

Was he in public or was it supposed to be a private fishing trip that didn't go as planned?

So you are telling me the white guy with a mullet is out of touch with today's black youth?

You never know who else might be that and what else we may find from some other coaches.

I'm sure that's the reason people were offended by his shirt.

All they know is OAN doesn't push the correct narrative and if you support that wrong narrative in 2020 then you get punished.

I'm glad I'm not moderating this board anymore because this can devolve really quick. I agree, most people are probably turned off by the station for their pushing of whacked out conspiracy theories, reporting things that are just out and out lies, their willingness to flat out just make up stories.

Myself...I'm not offended by them. I just take them for what they are.
