Arkansas just picked up the Malzahn offense minus the Malzahn baggage at what I'm assuming will be a considerable discount. Chad Morris is the reason Deshaun Watson ended up at Clemson. Great pick up by Arkansas.

SMU was awful when he took over. Morris has done great there. He turned 1 of the worst offenses into 1 of the best in NCAA.

Maybe, he's a complete departure from Bert in playing style so it's going to take some time for him to get his guys in there.

I would have enjoyed seeing Leach here at Arkansas but I think he's too set in his ways to start running the ball more often. As many talented running backs as Arkansas produces abandoning the running game wouldn't have made much sense.
It would have been a godsend for Mizzou though, y'all would have been able to cherry pick RBs out of Arkansas at will if we went pure air raid.
Morris doesn't seem to be a home run hire, but he looks like a solid double. Most importantly... he's not Bielema.

The offense Leach runs is a ball control offense. His teams may not be run heavy, but they usually dominate time of possession
