It will be very hard to get a coach to come and stay at Mizzou. We would be a stepping stone for most coaches. A good coach will move to a school with a better tradition or school that pays better.

It’s been hard to watch some of BO’s in game decisions and his struggles recruiting. He has been better than many coaching hires that are at same level as Mizzou.

What he struggles with is the offense. His defense has been good. Keeping a coach that is good at defense is better than keeping a coach that struggles defensively and is only a good offensive coach. With a defensive coach, like BO, you are always one OC hire away from being a good team. Defense is much harder to replace than offense.

Because it will be hard to get and retain a good head coach at Mizzou keeping BO a couple years to long is better than changing coaches every 3 years. If he can hire a better OC for next year fans will be back on the BO train like they were after the Ole Miss game.

BO will have bad years because he is a defensive coach and will rely on a good OC for offense play calling. Dooley has been a terrible hire.

Sounds eerily familiar to Muschamp. Mizzou has a better football tradition than Scar. They probably share this same defeatist attitude then. Or do they?

That’s some dumb fricking thinking. But sure. Be happy being mediocre.

We are in the SEC, almost every coaches goal is to coach in the SEC! We have the facilities now, but can we put up the money for a quality coach?

We can put up the money for a quality coach. Pinkel was a top 25 paid coach when he retired here.
