And they're still not winning.

Buchholz was terrible with his hurt shoulder. 88 mph fastball. We didn't take advantage of his injury. Had a couple chances to run him out of the game and break it open, but no.

How in the hell Lynn threw Gomes all fastballs during that long at bat is mind boggling.

We'll pay for this.

What a garbage baseball game.

This should have been over in the 3rd inning.

We lose the series now.

I don't even understand starting Lynn. Why?!?

Not willing to say we lose the series yet, but this game should have been ours.

I thought Lynn pitched ok. He had his usual lynn inning.

Idk, Miller seems like he would have matched up better.

Lynn unraveled. He basically uses one pitch the entire game.

Miller have a dead arm or hurt maybe? I don't get not using him at all.

He was laboring a lot at the end of the year, had decent results but looked like he was losing velocity. They probably had a cap on his innings and he hit it. But it's weird that he is the long reliever and available to pitch extended innings.

I know Lynn has won a lot of games as a starter, but I wish he was never taken out of the bullpen.

Agree again ST. I thought Lynn was effective and offered more for the team as a long reliever. Wish he would have stayed in the pen.

Disagree. I refuse to give up hope.

Best of three now. Leggo.

We have got to get some bats going. That's my concern. Any word on Craig? I don't see how he can start at first after watching him run last night.

We get the ball out of infield with runners at 3rd and that's a different game last night. It's probably just perception, but Jay seems unclutch. Holliday is Holliday and Freese is a free out.

If's perception, it's mine as well. The hole at the bottom of our lineup seems bigger than in years past between Freese, Jay and Kozma.

This lineup has many holes since the post season has started. Add Adams, DD and McCarp to the list. It is sad when they have the bases loaded or runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs and do not score. It is a wonder the Cards have made it this far. Yes, I know, they have made it this far because of outstanding pitching. I just hate that this series is going back to that outhouse in Beantown.

If we can find some runs and win tonight, I like our chances with Wacha. He was strong last game and didn't even have his good stuff. Lose tonight and well I don't want to think about it.
