Printz is the best and most natural QB we have... He should take over next year. This guy alone is why I'm not super happy about taking a QB in '14. But Zanders being an athlete and Brad Smith look alike I guess it's ok.

At least we know there will be a true competition next year. Printz looks like such a natural deep ball thrower. As for Zanders, I could see him taking a red shirt year his first year on campus.

Yeah, I'd guess that as well. Too much to learn, and too many other options in Printz and Mauk.

And I think he is going to have to adjust his body and there will not be enough reps to go around. At 175 pounds he really needs to put on weight if he wants to be a QB in the SEC behind a line that is not getting great recruits.

Yes. At his height of 6'1" or 6'2", he needs to weigh more or he'd get beaten up too badly. He will redshirt.

Not hard for a kid to put on 10+ lbs during his red shirt year. I'd bet he's already at 180+. The 175 was probably what he weighed during his HS Sr season.

With his long lean frame, he really just needs to weigh 190+. That won't be too difficult.

After watching the video Pinkel said hes not sure if it is something he will do just an option they have. One thing I like from the GP interview is he said Jason Reese is already up from 215 to 242 and still in phenomenal shape.

Really liked the rookie spotlight interview on him. Seems like a real good head on his shoulders.

I like Andy Hill. I also still really like the ball Printz throws.

I'm a huge Andy Hill fan, and hope that no matter what happens with the coaching situation, he stays on Mizzou's staff.

Matter also said today that, based on what he's seen so far, Sean Culkin is a more complete TE than Coffman, Rucker or Egnew. Henson has him receiving, blocking - and he's the real deal. He said he wouldn't be surprised to see him as a possible All-SEC selection by the end of the season, assuming he stays healthy.

8/12 Practice

In terms of how tight and crisp the passes has looked, this is the best video I have seen of JF this offseason. Every throw on the money an none have a wobble to them. Also some good looks at the wideouts in here.
