Since KC doesn't have an NHL team I'm going to adopt the Blues as my hockey team. Are they any good? Don't know much about this NHL stuff. I used to like going to hockey games when I lived up in Alaska, but never really followed nhl hockey. Is Blues hockey pretty big in St. Louis?

If you're in the unique opportunity to choose a new team to follow, I suggest you go with the Blackhawks, I'll vouch for yo if you ever get any shite.
The Blues are the Mizzou of the NHL, and we all know Mizzou fans don't need too many more opportunities to get kicked in the nuts. Being a Blues fan is just inviting it.

Nope. They lost my back in 2000.
Have fun rooting for the Blues and Mizzou.
Too much like being a Cubs fan for my taste.

Pay no attention to those fools...frick the blackhawks! Go Blues!!!!
Hockey News' Ryan Kennedy wrote. "Following two consecutive body blows in the playoffs, the Blues will learn from the past and win the franchise's first Stanley Cup after more than 45 years in the NHL."
EA Sports’ simulation resulted in the Blues beating Pittsburgh in six games, and NHL 2014 producer Sean Ramjagsingh explained why that could be realistically possible.
“The St. Louis Blues are the personification of NHL 14,” Ramjagsingh told Pro Hockey Talk. “They’re tough, fast and have one of the deepest lineups in the League, making them a favorite to finish on top this season.”

Dudes, I'm a fan on MIZZOU, Royals, and Chiefs! I just checked and see that the Blues have never won the Stanley Cup. Sounds like just my kind of team. I love the underdog!

Damn, 3-0 in the first period. Blues kickin a whole bunch of arse tonight. Crowd looks juiced too. I need some beer.

I meant to ask, were you going to Aces games up in Alaska or some other team?

Yep. I loved aces games. Also UAF Nanooks!

I catch quite a few Wranglers games here, not a huge fan of the Aces.

Cool man. Was kind of surprised someone here knew who the aces were lol. They're fun games to go to...and cheap!

Dont know about that one.
That Blues consecutive playoff streak sets them apart I think.

Would be cool to have an NBA franchise in KC and an NHL team in STL.
Win win for both sides of the state.

It really is weird that there's two decent sized cities in Missouri with facilities and there's only 1 of 4 possible winter teams actually there.
