Honestly I was against him at first, but I have been watching his games on Youtube and I am warming up to him.

His wife died this year and his mind had to be on that, and I am sure Jonesboro is place holding bad memories for him right now. But he was still 7-5 this year.

He has been surrounded by really good people.

We played Arkansas State a few years back and Pinkel claimed he didn't want to have to play them again, a complement on how good they were.

Yes he did pick up cast offs from SEC teams and other teams and pluck Juco players, but he out recruited Arkansas within the State too.

I am not ready to cast my vote for him but I will say my respect level just got higher.

Love Blake but that’s not even remotely true.

Curious, I just read through the Ark St. roster. Very heavy on all the "SEC states," quite a few Texas kids, Okies, a surprising number of Missouri guys, and, of course beaucoup Arkansas boys. Also, scatterings from all over the country.

Maybe that signals that he has some good, wide-ranging contacts when he's recruiting.

That part, at least, looks hopeful to me should he be the choice.

You would hope between his contacts and Mizzou's current contacts within the same areas Anderson could do well. Although an Odom as HC in Memphis would do some picking off in the same areas.
