He just plays to his audience...when he wants to anyway. Like I said he can barely be bothered to even discuss Mizzou but if he gets an opportunity to throw some red meat you better believe he’ll jump over it.

This particular article spends the first portion talking about how bad a coach Odom is but then jumps directly into Lock playing like shite. How do the two equate? Did Odom throw that horrendous pick 6? Was he inaccurate all day? Did he drop passes in the EZ? You can’t place the blame squarely on the coach. The players have to make plays. Failing to acknowledge this of course because the typical fan reaction to these things is “fire somebody!” and an article promoting “fire somebody!” Is the easy way out.

Then he directly blames Odom for Brown and Hall being hurt which is the most idiotic leap I’ve ever seen made in article. Pure nonsense. Has to fit into “fire somebody!”

Then of course it is Odom’s fault that McCann tried an onside kick when he’s not supposed to. That’s between Hill and McCann and you could tell Hill was absolutely befuddled when McCann came back to the sideline. There aren’t that many different things you can do on a kickoff. That’s simply inexcusable for McCann to not know what’s he’s supposed to be doing.

Of course, the overall sloppy play of this team (which is consistent) ultimately will fall back in the HC but to point out these specific issues and then try to spin them back to the HC is at best dishonest, and at worst just flat out lying to make a point.

It’s a garbage hit piece. If he wanted to right a piece like this there is plenty of fodder for it. No need for the spaghetti logic tying every failure back to BO...but it’s more effective that way.

He isn't, but he's no longer credible.

That is on Odom for playing Brown and Hall who were ailing most of the Georgia game. They should have sit out that game or been pulled when they were too injured to contribute. Them being decoys my arse!

I want to see Odom succeed, because that means Mizzou succeeds. He loves the job and is passionate about his team makes me want to see him succeed, but.........

It's true, if BO losses his job after this season and people ask why, they're going to point back to the South Carolina game. Remember, we came off a bye week for this game, this is a perfect example of what bad coaching looks like. More so than the Purdue game last year.

This, on top of abysmal recruiting. Pinkel didn't recruit really well, but he did better than this.

Did you know two dependable wide receivers did not play the game? You really do not get it about needed time to get the depth and learning new system. Barry Odom is going to need at least another year. Look at UCLA? Look at Nebraska? Two top coaches and they are hitting rock bottom right now. There are a few others as well. Barry Odom is going to be back if they win 7-5 or 8-4. I said 8-4 for Missouri. Give him a break! Missouri fans is also to be blame for not showing up at the game. Got to show up and support the players and coaches. Recruiting also will help if fans show up to the games. Remember Alabama head coach was complaining fans should have given the tickets to others if they were not going to be at the game. Why that matters? Recruits! They show up and see the crowds and what the atmosphere is like before deciding to accept the offer. Missouri fans does not get this. Need to fiore barry Odom because he failed to win games that South Carolina was project to be a possible 10-2 team. Who do we hire that is better than Barry Odom that will want to be at missouri for a long time? You fans are crazy! Good Luck trying to convince Jim Sterk to find a much better coach that will get missouri recruits Ten times better and win 9 to 10 games in 2 years! Got to laugh and I am very happy with the way Barry Odom is doing right now. I am disappointed that Missouri did not win the game at South Carolina. But the way he got his team to play much better than a year ago and without two of the most reliable receivers out of the South carolina game. Give Barry his time to continue to improve from the year before even if the record may be the same 7-5 but Missouri is showing fight and lose close games then I will accept that as long things are looking brighter down the road for Missouri.

Why do you keep bringing up the missing receivers? This is October in the SEC, players will be missing and hurt.

We had a team averaging 7 yards a carry against a defense who was literally tired of tackling our guys before they got their momentum shift and you keep blaming missing receivers? This big boy football, next year he will be missing a veteran QB but he should still have a pulse on what his team does well and putting them in position to not only win against common opponents, but dominate teams who are not on our level. South Carolina is not on our level and played a backup QB. So yea.
