That sucks. If he gets his surgery soon he still should be ready by fall camp if not sooner.

My ex-wife used to work for the AD Dept at Arkie in the 1970's, and they complained for years about the turf at War memorial stadium, it used to be cement underneath I don't think they ever changed that.
I just found a story from a year ago, the turf is to be replaced 2019, so I assume it has not been done yet because it looked crappy.
