No coaches at this university can recruit worth a damn. That's why it is a very average athletic department.
Even our best teams like wrestling have a ceiling that is good, but will never be good enough for a national title.
Maybe it is something in the water.

This sucks because we really don’t have any backup plan. I kind of wonder why we didn’t shift our focus to someone else in the recent weeks it became obvious we weren’t getting EJ.

While we made it to one tournament appearance in the last 5 years, we are not as nationally relevant as we think we are.
Cuonzo recruited an assitant coach last year that set some dominoes in motion. It’s going to be tougher than that. But he’s just getting started.

Because he couldn't convince his buddy Liddell to ride with Mizzou, McKinney said he will push hard on his Vashon teammate Cam'Ron Fletcher.

Vashon has loads of talent. In addition to McKinney they have Fletcher in 2020 a 4 star top 50 recruit and Kearn in 2021 will be a top 50 recruit. There are a couple guards with with mid major offers. Vashon also added a 6’9 C from Africa that could be mid major plus type of player.
