I think about 100 of that was in junk time. We should be able to handle usc. But who knows if that team from the first week shows up again.

The SEMO game execution was kinda sloppy

Neither SEMO nor WVU had any kind of run game, rarely got past the line to test the secondary. SCAR will use misdirection and stunts like Wyoming. If the secondary gets juked clean off the field like the 1st game, it will be a long day.

They don’t really run that kind of offense and their QB is not much of a threat with his legs.

SCAR really hasn’t been a good running team the past couple of year, but they did OK vs Bama.

I think our run D should hold up pretty well. As always the concern will be putting pressure on the QB. Do that, and we should have a good day on that side of the ball.

With Feaster in the game they primarily ran inside zone with little success. Most of Dowdle's success came on counter-trap at the right side.

C'mon, it was a joke

I have no idea what we have with our defense right now.

This game will probably be a shootout though

I do but the bigger question is can the D sustain it for 4 quarters?

The front looked good the last two games, but it was against poor competition. It will be interesting to see what they look like against the SC offense.

We gotta get some pressure on this kid. It looked to me like Bama played sort of contain, and see if this guy can beat us passing downfield.

If you watched that game he actually threw several passes into double coverage. They should have picked him several times

I read an article on PM where SC is hyped in kicking Mizzou's arses. They are looking at the Mizzou game to get back on track and not end up in a crappy bowl.

The coverage looked good
It helped that their quarterback was hot garbage

Terrible QB threw for 350 vs Bama last week lol

You know, it’s ok to give the team you root for credit occasionally

No one will think any less of you

16 rushing yds on 24 carries was a much better than what I was expecting. Walters put a solid plan together for keeping Feaster and Dowdle contained.

So how can the scheme be so poor against Wyoming and work so well against scar, and what happens when we play another clever staff?

The D was really good yesterday, easily the best I've seen out of an Odom team
